Secret Service Agents Break into Hair Salon for Access to Bathroom, Owner Left Fuming
[Washington D.C., USA] – In a shocking incident that has left many scratching their heads, a group of Secret Service agents were caught breaking into a hair salon in the nation’s capital for access to the bathroom. The agents, who were reportedly attending a high-level meeting at the nearby White House, failed to notify the salon owner or any of the staff members before taking matters into their own hands.
The bizarre incident occurred at around 10 am yesterday morning at "Hair by Design," a popular salon located in the heart of downtown Washington D.C. The owner, Maria Rodriguez, was busy with clients when she noticed two agents in plainclothes, armed with badges and ID cards, trying to gain entry into the salon.
Rodriguez, who was understandably flustered, asked the agents what they were doing and why they didn’t bother to notify her or anyone else before attempting to break in. The agents, who claimed they were on a "high-priority mission," allegedly told her that they had to use the bathroom urgently and didn’t have time to wait.
"I couldn’t believe what I was hearing," Rodriguez said in an exclusive interview with [News Channel]. "I mean, who does this? Who breaks into someone’s business without even a courtesy knock? It’s unacceptable, especially when it’s the Secret Service."
The agents, who were later identified as part of the Secret Service’s Counter Assault Team (CAT), reportedly caused a significant disturbance at the salon, disturbing clients and causing a scene. Rodriguez was left fuming, saying that she felt disrespected and disbelieved by the agents’ actions.
"I was so upset, I couldn’t even finish my own hair appointment," Rodriguez said. "I mean, who do they think they are? They’re supposed to be protecting the President, not breaking into a hair salon for a quick bathroom break."
The Secret Service has since issued an apology for the incident, saying that the agents "acted inappropriately" and that an investigation is underway.

I'm just posting here to the community because I can't believe this is not a major news story. This isn't about left or right – this is about the freaking Secret Service picking the lock of a hair solon so they or a protectee could use the bathroom! Like WTF.
I understand that there was no criminal mens rea (intent) but holy eff- if a homeless person broke into a business to use the bathroom and did so without damaging anything – they will still definitely catch a burglary charge.
Am I crazy or is this a big deal?
