CCTV obtained by Dong-A Ilbo on the 14th shows the following that transpired at around 11.10 PM on the 6th:
- He was riding an electric scooter/kickboard at a very slow pace on the side walk
- He was wearing a helmet
- The distance from his studio to the main entrance of Nine One Hannam was in fact 500m
- He fell and lost his balance right after a sharp turn right in front of his residence
- He was not found "lying on the ground & blackout drunk" as the footage shows how he immediately was able to get back up on his feet shortly before the police approached him
Every other CCTV footage initially released by different networks, such as JTBC, and later covered by more mainstream media and even international news outlets, was apparently fake. These grainy CCTV clips, along with various details surrounding the incident that were false and inaccurate but were reported anyway and heavily sensationalized by the media, prompted the public to call out SUGA and BTS for 'lying' in their apology statement. But now with the actual real CCTV footage, which corroborated their story, have basically debunked the details that they were accused of lying about.
