  1. If it’s in context and quoting nothing wrong with getting the full picture as that’s what the guidelines state.

Imagine being triggered by accurate information, shouldn’t be pissy at ABC, be pissy at the sexual harassment they’re reporting on.

Imagine being more upset about bad words on telly then the harassment

  2. Ah yes, heaven help us if quotes from abusive arseholes get reported verbatim to highlight the severity of the situation. I imagine it would be vastly worse to be on the receiving end in a professional setting than during the morning news or whatever.

If you’re so upset by it, send a letter to channel 7 stating how appalled you are that they’d allow their management to use that language towards their staff, and that it has permanently ruined their reputation in your eyes. If they hadn’t said it, it wouldn’t be on TV.

  3. So they aren’t using the words themselves, but rather reporting what was said by somebody else.

That’s good journalism IMO and only a child would say “UMMAHHHH!”

  4. It’s Four Corners.

There would have been classification advice in the break before the programme.

There are rules surrounding when certain classified content can air.

They don’t have to bleep it out because it doesn’t break the classification rules.

I’m sorry that you find it “cringe af”… but not as sorry as I am that someone in their 40s would use the term “cringe af”.
