Officially Banned: New Study Reveals Shocking Truth About [Topic]
I know I went about explaining my side the wrong way, but I truly am upset that he’s still doing this to people who are desperate and trying to learn how to manage their finances. It all started with me agreeing with someone that he probably shouldn’t have someone who’s trans on the show. Not to exclude trans people, but I don’t think it’s good for anyone to be exposed to a community that’s been built to humiliate and belittle people.
My mistake was when I encouraged people to think about WHY they like the show if they actually like it. Then I explained my experience on the show and of course this started arguments.
One person said they think people who go on the show have a humiliation kink (I absolutely do not). Another person said that when I responded to my own comments here on Reddit it made me look like a lunatic. I do that when I have something to add to what I’ve said but now I realize I should just edit my comments.
Anyways I knew I was going to get in arguments and banned for trying to express my opinion, but I would rather express my opinion and be disliked than suffer in silence like I did for so many months after the show.
I want to let it go so bad, but my computer has these dumb news article notifications about “Caleb Hammer’s advice” on MSN. It just serves as a reminder that he’s continuing to profit off of other people’s pain, not just mine. I know it’s not a good look to be angry, but I am. And I want people to understand that I’m not just angry for myself, but for all of the other people who are gullible enough to believe he’s helping and signing up just to be humiliated.
Maybe he has helped some of his viewers with their finances, but I feel like it’s done in a way that is completely devoid of humanity. Someone in the comments on his main Reddit told me that being on that show forced me to see reality, but I disagree. My reality is about building people up instead of tearing them down, unless if they are tearing others down first. I know there are plenty of other people who seek to build others up alongside themselves, and those are the kind of people I will surround myself with in my daily reality.
However, if they mean I saw the reality that many successful people only get there by tearing others down, then yes that show did force me to see reality.
I do recognize that I do sound a bit crazy when I express my experience on the show, but I know I’m not the only one of his guests who has felt the way I did afterwards, and I just don’t think it’s okay for him to profit off of people’s distress when there are so many other ways to teach finances.
-Oh also my “mass insult” was saying that a lot of people who like the show only do because they like to see people be humiliated. I knew that would get me in trouble but I don’t care.

Welcome to the sub. Got banned last week from the main sub for suggesting that the Taquito Man’s interview was exploitative. Got banned almost instantly. No explanation. Caleb and his team are quite thin skinned for bullies.
