So for about two years she was going through menopause and didn't know that, so for the past two years it does track that her shitty and nasty behavior twords me was unwarranted and completely unnecessary. The things she said to me I don't believe I can let go of easily because I've been going through this with no answer for why for two years. It was just random and I made a post about a year ago talking about how she's like a stealth bomber, she'll come out of nowhere with some Bs and dip out when it turns into an argument. That doesn't happen anymore luckily, she's taken to just sending the shitty message but then deleting it quickly. That's an option on fb messenger.
I'm glad I know she's going through menopause because now I can sort out the BS from conversation and not take it to heart now.
She is my only family member, she's going through a breakup with my stepdad of 8ish years and is choosing to be homeless again. Understandably I'm concerned about that.
But she's an adult and I'm a young adult trying to makes ends meet and get my own shit under control like a normal person, I don't have time nor can I force her to just get a place to live to make me feel better. This is what she wants and it's troubling.
I'm just venting today because her telling me her plans brought up some stuff, so this is kinda like a diary till things smooth out.
The truck she owns but doesn't have a license for: the keys are being held by my stepdad who said she owes him 2,500$ for the truck but when I recall back when they bought it, they put both their money into it. She owns it legally, he doesn't have a driver's license because he owes child support so she's giving me the truck. If he's trying to get money out of this he is barking up the wrong tree legally.
Frankly how I feel about my step dad and her, their relationship was a trash fire from the beginning and I was caught in the middle and made an easy target for him to fuck with or call out during arguments, when that wasn't happening then I was forgotten and I liked being not paid attention to because holy fuck that man tore down my character, my clothes, my body and all the way down to how I laugh. He and she have tried to convince me all that time it was just tough love from him and he really cares about me but I think: sometimes he did care a little but he mostly hated me, he wanted my mom but didn't like the baggage. Hi it's me, I'm the baggage.
I was left feeling like I was the problem in the relationship but since I've been moved out that's not the case at all.
He has kids of his own who have reached out this year and he sent me a drunk text asking if I wanna meet them cause I'm "family" and like "a daughter to me but more like a friend daughter."
I didn't need him to extend that Olive Branch of family to me, he can fuck off with that. I don't need a father figure, I know right from wrong and have meet good men before and will continue to.
I know I won't or even be able to say my peace with him, that's okay. He can continue to be the villain in my head until one day I will forgive him, that's all I need.

BIG GOOD NEWS!!!: I'm getting my family pictures back, I haven't seen them in 10 years and before she leaves I'm gonna get them. I'll be able to show my bf all the places I've been in my homeless childhood, he's quite interested in seeing the places I've described over the years, so I'm excited!!!!.
As for my mom and what I plan to do to help her out while she's choosing to be homeless again: I'm gonna purchase her mace and knives, warm clothes and try to talk her into getting a motel room for the winter time. It gets deadly cold out here every year, I fucking hate the winters and believe me I've had some fucking winters before eye roll

Welp, time to do chores and some drawing to cool my nerves off.
