A sudden and unexpected turn of events unfolded at a construction site in the heart of the city today, as a loader accidentally hit a crack in the concrete, causing three medium-sized orders to come tumbling down.

Eyewitnesses claim that the loader, operated by an experienced driver, was attempting to lift a large load of materials when it struck the concealed crack in the concrete. The sudden impact sent the orders tumbling to the ground, leaving workers and onlookers stunned.

"I was just walking by when I heard the loader screech to a halt and then the concrete started falling apart," said John Doe, a construction worker on the site. "It was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The whole area was filled with dust and debris."

The incident has left many workers on site shaken, and construction operations have been temporarily suspended as officials investigate the cause of the accident.

"It’s a serious situation, and we’re taking immediate action to ensure the safety of our workers," said Jane Smith, site manager. "We’re conducting a thorough investigation to determine what caused the crack and prevent similar incidents from happening in the future."

The site is currently undergoing renovation and expansion, with several high-rise buildings being constructed. The accident has raised concerns about the structural integrity of the concrete and the potential for further damage.

As the investigation continues, the site has been cordoned off, and authorities are urging nearby residents and workers to exercise caution when passing by the area.

Got a really nice offer on 3 "medium" drops for 8 miles and $38. The catch was the order with like 20 2 liter bottles of club soda. This must've done something weird with the weight distribution in the stack of crates. Loader came out, hit a crack in the pavement and proceeded to spill all the orders on the pavement. I felt bad for the kid because he and I go way back. Good news was the only casualty was a loaf of bread.

I had no idea how they would handle sorting that out, and I secretly wished I hadn't backed into the spot because otherwise I would have captured the whole thing on dash cam. I didn't get involved with picking it off the ground as I didn't want to get blamed for any of it.

They wound up gathering all the goods and going back inside to re-sort it. They had no idea how long resorting it would take, so I canceled the order, which I didn't want to do.

Three minutes later, the same order comes offered at $42. I snagged it up, I hadn't even left the space. It took a while (12+ mins) still to get loaded.

I get to the last drop and I see that one thing which wasn't sorted correctly was a rotisserie chicken ordered by drop #2. It was mixed in with drop #3. I let the loaders load everything because again I didn't want to be blamed for this. I called Spark driver support and let them know what happened.

Luckily I had a screen shot of that address and it wasn't too far, and I ran that back to drop #2. They were also the ones with the smashed bread. Loader had replaced it by the time I pulled away from curbside.

The order was jinxed from the beginning.
