Add breaking news content about Should I start PoE now or wait for PoE2 in English and add many SEO tags on the content

So I never played PoE or Diablo or anything like that, but rn i wanna get into it. I still haven't played, im exploring my options, and PoE seemed the better option for me. That being said, i did a quick google search regarding PoE 2 and it said it's mechanics and etc… are different, and wont be replacing the first one, instead it will be something that runs with it. I dont really have much time to grind both at the same time so should i play PoE for the story and then carry on to PoE 2, just watch a lore vid on PoE to get informed and then play PoE 2, or play PoE and watch a lore vid on PoE 2? Ik the mechs and other stuff about PoE 2 may not be out yet, so giving an asnwer is hard, but so is to get an asnwer myself when i havent played PoE, neither kept up with news on PoE 2 (if there was any) and researching all that, getting into that rabbit hole is maybe kinda dumb when someone who has played PoE and ketp up with news can give me an answer just taking one minute to answer

  1. The best head start you could get to understanding POE2 would be to play POE1. Sure, a lot will change, but a lot will also stay the same or be slightly adjusted. You certainly won’t be worse at POE2 because you played POE1. If it sounds fun just give it a try, it’s free (though realistically long term you will probably want to spend some money on stash tabs at the minimum)

  2. The fundamentals will surely be the same, also 3.25 is the best QoL league I’ve played and has me hooked. PoE 1 isn’t going to shut down anyways in case you end up not liking PoE 2 which seems to be a bit slower paced and may reset the insane powercreep there is now in PoE 1

  3. So you mentioned that you haven’t played Diablo, then also mentioned that you want to play this game for story. That’s not typically why people play these types of games, but I suppose there’s no reason you couldn’t. You can experience all the game has to offer story wise in a relatively short period of time, like depending on how much you play, maybe days to weeks. Give it a shot.

  4. Start now. PoE1 will still be active PoE2 launches – the timing of the seasonal content is staggered, so you will have PoE1 to fall back on when you have exhausted PoE2’s current-season content.

  5. People forget that poe has a great story. Especially for peoples first tun through acts. We just get so focused on running through as fast as possible to get to end game.

  6. Wait for poe2

There’ll be similarities of course, but it’s a whole new game that’ll need to be learned, and the first game is so complex that you’ll barely scratch the surface before 2 drops. Might lead to burn out as well

  7. This will be very unpopular in this community, but play diablo 4 first. It’ll give you a satisfying loop in experiencing aarpgs, then move to poe2 for depth
