Add breaking news content about Will Apple continue to support Apple News Plus at current level?
in English and add many SEO tags on the content

I have a Google Pixel 7 which offers Google News. The service has never held a candle to Apple News +, and unbelievably it's gotten worse. I also have a recent iPad mini, which has Apple News +, and I find it brilliant in its range of publications, for a negligible subscription cost.

Here's what I'm thinking. I will overcome the various obstacles to replacing my Android phone with the iPhone just so I can have the Apple News + service. I use my cell phone to make phone calls and texts and maps etc. The occasional pix or video. Call me a luddite but for what I use the phone for, the functionality between the two platforms is basically even. Except for the news service. Google's sucks the high hard one, and Apple's (even without the NYT) is great.

My question is specific: is this disparity in the news services gonna continue? Have you heard rumblings that Apple is going to deprecate its news service or that Google is going to suddenly elevate it's pathetic service? What have you heard?

  1. I agree with your observation and the other person’s comment. Apple News plus is pretty amazing, especially once you set up the custom channels to your needs. I only wish there were no limit to the channels you can create, similar to how Spotify doesn’t limit the number of playlists users can make, but Apple does allow for a good number of them. (The search function in Apple stocks is pretty good, too, as is adding “Reddit” to any safari or google search.) Apple News plus is the best news aggregator, and its non-Google competitors like NewsBreak, SmartNews, Ground News and Flipboard, can seem slow, clumsy, too ambitious, and a little creepy and invasive at times, and none are integrated as seamlessly as Apple News. It’s a lot of publications for a negligible price, with a good user interface and ability to created highly personalized news channels that are similar to Google News alerts. While Google and FB seem to deprecate their news offerings, Apple seems to be only adding features to this impressive aggregator. imho

  2. i’ve been pondering apple news for a while but have one question. For the $13 per month do you get access to ALL THE PUBLICATIONS or are mm blocked form some of them, such as The Wall street Journal, Barrons, NYT, etc.

It’s probably with the price anyway, but this has been holding me back.

By the way, can anyone point me to a list that is/isn’t included in the subscription price.
