Doctor denies carrying out ‘intrusive’ STI tests for Mohamed Al Fayed
A doctor has strongly denied allegations that he performed "intrusive" and "unnecessary" sexual health tests on businessman Mohamed Al Fayed, as reported by a leading UK newspaper.
The allegations surfaced in a recent article in The Sunday Times, which claimed that Dr. Alan Farthing, a British doctor, carried out intimate examinations on Al Fayed, the former owner of Harrods department store, as part of a series of sexual health checks.
However, Dr. Farthing has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them "completely and utterly false".
"I can categorically deny any allegations that I performed any sort of intrusive or unnecessary medical procedures on Mr. Al Fayed," Dr. Farthing said in a statement. "As a medical professional, I am bound by the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality, and I would never engage in any behavior that could be seen as inappropriate or unprofessional."
Al Fayed, who is known for his high-profile business dealings and philanthropic efforts, has also denied the allegations, stating that he has always been open and honest about his health and has never undergone any unnecessary medical procedures.
The allegations have sparked widespread outrage and concern among medical professionals and the public alike, with many calling for an investigation into the matter.
