UK Doctor Denies Carrying Out "Intrusive" STI Tests for Fayed Family

A British doctor has denied allegations that he carried out "intrusive" sexually transmitted infection (STI) tests on members of the Fayed family, including Mohamed Al-Fayed, the billionaire businessman who owned Harrods department store.

The allegations were made in a documentary aired on the BBC on Monday night, which claimed that Dr. Julian Thomas, a London-based doctor, had performed unnecessary and invasive tests on the Fayed family members.

However, Dr. Thomas has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them "untrue" and "malicious". In a statement released to the press, Dr. Thomas said: "I have never performed any intrusive or unnecessary tests on the Fayed family. I have always acted with the utmost professionalism and respect for my patients’ privacy and dignity."

The Fayed family has been at the center of controversy in recent years, with Mohamed Al-Fayed’s business dealings and personal life being scrutinized by the media and authorities.

The allegations against Dr. Thomas were made in a documentary titled "The Fayed Family: Secrets and Lies", which aired on the BBC’s Panorama program. The documentary claimed that Dr. Thomas had performed tests on the Fayed family members, including Mohamed Al-Fayed’s son, Dodi Fayed, who was killed in a car accident in Paris in 1997.

The Fayed family has been a prominent fixture in British society for decades, with Mohamed Al-Fayed owning Harrods department store and several other businesses. However, the family has been plagued by controversy in recent years, including allegations of tax evasion and corruption.

The allegations against Dr. Thomas have sparked a heated debate about the ethics of medical testing and the need for greater transparency in the medical profession.
