All evacuations lifted in Palermo due to the Grubbs Fire

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. —
A vegetation prompted temporary evacuations for residents in Palermo on Wednesday afternoon. However, all evacuations have since been lifted, according to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
The fire, called the Grubbs Fire, ignited off Grubbs Road and Brollier Way in Palermo just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday. As of 5:53 p.m. Cal Fire says the fire has grown to 10 acres.
