SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 from Florida’s Space Coast early Saturday morning, following a two-week hiatus after a rocket’s in-flight failure on July 11.This morning’s Falcon 9 mission launched at 1:45 a.m. and sent 23 new Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit. The rocket lifted off from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.The Falcon 9 first-stage rocket booster supporting this mission has now completed 17 flights, following this morning’s success. It previously launched missions including SES-18, SES-19, CRS-24 and OneWeb 1.This was the first flight since July 11, when a Falcon 9 rocket carrying Starlink satellites to orbit from California suffered an in-flight failure for the first time since June 2015. The rockets had been grounded by the Federal Aviation Admission following the July 11 Starlink mission. SpaceX recorded over 300 successful launches in the time since the June 2015 failure.
