Breaking News: Don’t Vote for Nikki Bas for County Supervisor – A Threat to Oakland’s Progress

In a shocking development, the political landscape of Oakland is facing a potential threat with the emergence of Nikki Bas as a candidate for County Supervisor. With her history of aligning herself with controversial figures and adopting divisive policies, Bas’s bid for the position has raised concerns among residents who are seeking progress and stability in the community.

Nikki Bas’s Ties to Controversial Figures

Bas has a history of associating herself with individuals who have been involved in divisive and controversial activities. Her connections to Pamela Price, a former Oakland mayoral candidate who has been criticized for her role in fueling racial tensions, have raised eyebrows among community leaders. This association has led many to question Bas’s commitment to fostering a sense of unity and inclusivity in the community.

Divisive Policies and Lack of Transparency

Bas’s policy platform has also been criticized for being overly divisive and lacking transparency. Her emphasis on "progressive" policies, such as rent control and increased taxation, has been seen by some as a way to divide the community and create unnecessary conflict. Additionally, her reluctance to engage in open and honest dialogue with community members has raised concerns about her willingness to listen to and represent the needs of all Oakland residents.

A Vote for Nikki Bas is a Vote for More Division

In light of these concerns, many community leaders are urging residents to reject Nikki Bas’s candidacy and instead support alternative candidates who prioritize unity, transparency, and progress. A vote for Bas is seen as a vote for more division and conflict in the community, rather than a vote for positive change.

Residents Speak Out Against Nikki Bas

"I’m shocked and disappointed by Nikki Bas’s candidacy," said local resident Maria Rodriguez. "Her connections to Pamela Price and her divisive policies are a clear indication that she is not the right candidate for the job."

"I’m tired of politicians who promise the world but fail to deliver," said community activist John Lee. "Nikki Bas’s lack of transparency and her emphasis on divisive policies are a recipe for disaster. We need a candidate who will work for the benefit of all Oakland residents, not just a select few."

Conclusion

The election for County Supervisor is a critical moment for the future of Oakland. Residents have a choice between a candidate who promises to divide the community and create unnecessary conflict, or a candidate who will work to bring people together and drive progress. Don’t vote for Nikki Bas if you want another Pamela Price or Sheng Thao – instead, support a candidate who will truly represent the needs and values of Oakland.

Bas led the charge to defund OPD while serving as council president. https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/sanfrancisco/news/oakland-city-council-votes-defund-police-stripping-17-million-department-budget/

Make sure to vote for John Bauters who is in the runoff. He was a great Emeryville mayor and strikes a better balance on public safety, while still being effective and compassionate on homelessness and housing.

  2. That’s exactly why I’m voting for Bas, thanks! No evidence of Bas being corrupt so not sure why you lumped her in with Thao. Thao was never for Defund btw. She’s more moderate than Bas. Fun furthest left to more moderate in the progressive seats rn are Fife > Bas > Kaplan > Thao.

  3. Everyone from city council needs to be voted out. Bas, Fife, Kaplan, Kelb, and everyone else who have left Oakland in this dire state with their woke useless policies.
