Aug 5: Called CS for the request, submitted requested payslips same day via email and was acknowledged.

Aug 12: Called CS again to follow up on request. Pending pa daw, so they told me to call back in 5-7 business days if I don't receive feedback re: approval.

Aug 20: I was already planning on calling them, but I received an official SMS: "Good news! Your request for an increase in your credit limit has been approved. You may start enjoying your higher credit limit of ____. Keep using your BPI Credit Card […]"

But it's been 3 days and the CLI has yet to be reflected in the app. I'm worried cos I want to go get a big purchase on installment during my trip this long weekend.

Should I wait til it reflects in the app before the big purchase or should I just go ahead and make the purchase despite this?

TLDR: My CLI request was approved, but still hasn't reflected in-app after 3 days. I want to make a big installment purchase this weekend. Can I go ahead and swipe despite this?
