Trump Claims Fox News Called Him to Interview After Harris’s Convention Speech: ‘I’m the Ratings Machine’

August 19, 2022

In a shocking revelation, former President Donald Trump has claimed that Fox News reached out to him for an interview after Kamala Harris’s convention speech, stating that he is the "Ratings Machine" that the network can’t resist.

According to Trump, the network’s producers contacted him to discuss the Democratic vice presidential nominee’s address, which he believes was a "disaster." Trump took to social media to share the news, tweeting: "Just got a call from @FoxNews asking if I would like to do an interview about @KamalaHarris’s terrible speech last night. I said yes, of course! I’m the Ratings Machine, and they know it!"

This unexpected development comes as a surprise to many, as Fox News has been criticized in the past for its perceived bias towards the Republican Party and its allies. Trump’s claim that the network wants to interview him suggests that he may still have significant influence within the organization.

The interview, if it takes place, would likely be a prime-time special, allowing Trump to respond to Harris’s speech and share his thoughts on the Democratic Party’s platform. The former president has a history of using his appearances on Fox News to attack his political opponents and generate controversy.

Trump’s tweet about the potential interview has already sparked a heated debate on social media, with many Democrats accusing Fox News of enabling Trump’s divisive rhetoric and others praising the network for giving him a platform.

  1. So get a job on Fox ‘news’ instead of trying to destroy democracy, Donny.

That’s what he really wanted, he never wanted to be President, he wanted to drum up financial backing and interest in starting up his own version of Fox.

  2. What a fucking baby. “I’m the best! No one can question my absolute dominance in the things I care about! If I were to confront that, I’d be forced to face the gaping well of emptiness and emptiness within, which would break me. So fuck you America! Worship me like a God!”

  3. The whole “alpha male” thing is stupid as hell, but i still dont see how people see it in him. He whines about something every single day. Isnt that what youd call “beta” behavior? Do “super hot chicks” really want a dude who whines all the time?

All he has to say is “Harris may have won the ratings battle, but the true test will be the ballot box war. And we will show up, and we will win.”

Literally his base will eat that up, but he’d rather stay in his feelings. Certified lover boy, certified—

  4. Gee, I wonder which is the more enviable position? To be Harris who every media outlet would kill to interview or to be Trump who any Fox News host can talk to for hours any time they want?

  5. This is what it is all about for him. Everything else is just a means for him to get public attention and ratings. I really can’t wait for the Trump Show to go the way of Tucker Carlson.

  6. When I read that Trump said something, the only thing I know for sure is that he is bullshitting. Bullshitting is different from lying. A bullshitter often does not know the truth, and does not care if what he says is true or false. The whole concept of truth is beyond his understanding.

A demented bullshitter can, sometimes, say something that happens to be true. But it is not because he knows the truth. It is like the monkey typing. Sometimes, just by chance, they get something right.

This time, I’m pretty sure he is not right. He is just bullshitting.
