In a major development, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has set its revenue target for the financial year 2023-2024 (FY30) at ₹10,000 crore, indicating a significant growth trajectory for the company. The shipbuilding giant is confident of achieving better margins, driven by its diversified product portfolio and expanding customer base.
The revenue target of ₹10,000 crore represents a substantial increase from the company’s FY23 revenue of ₹7,500 crore. GRSE’s FY30 revenue target is expected to be driven by a mix of domestic and international orders, including contracts from the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, and commercial clients.
"We are confident of achieving our revenue target of ₹10,000 crore in FY30, backed by our diversified product portfolio and expanding customer base," said Rear Admiral V K Saxena (Retd), Chairman & Managing Director, GRSE. "Our focus on quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction has enabled us to build strong relationships with our clients, and we are committed to sustaining this momentum in the coming years."
GRSE’s FY30 revenue target is also expected to be driven by the company’s growing presence in the international market. The company has been actively pursuing export opportunities, and has already received orders from countries such as Vietnam, Philippines, and Egypt.
The company’s order book has also seen a significant increase in recent times, with a total of ₹25,000 crore worth of orders already received. GRSE’s order book includes contracts for the construction of warships, offshore patrol vessels, and commercial vessels, among others.
