Indiana Beach Amusement Resort Removes OTSRs from Iconic All American Triple Loop Coaster

Published: March 10, 2023

Indiana Beach Amusement Resort, a beloved destination in North America, has made a significant move by removing the Over-The-Shoulder Restraints (OTSRs) from its iconic All American Triple Loop coaster. This decision aims to enhance the overall ride experience and increase thrill levels for visitors.

The All American Triple Loop, one of the park’s most popular attractions, is a classic wooden coaster that features three loops and a steep drop. With the removal of OTSRs, riders will now have a more immersive experience, allowing them to feel the wind in their hair and the rush of adrenaline as they navigate the coaster’s twists and turns.

"We’re thrilled to introduce this new element to the All American Triple Loop experience," said an Indiana Beach spokesperson. "By removing the OTSRs, we’re giving our guests the freedom to enjoy the ride in a way that’s more authentic and exhilarating."

This move is part of the park’s ongoing efforts to modernize and improve the guest experience. With the removal of OTSRs, Indiana Beach is hoping to attract a new generation of thrill-seekers and coaster enthusiasts.

  1. This is exciting. I haven’t been on it yet, but I’ve been on most of the other north american Schwartzkopf loopers, and I would expect this to be a pretty big improvement.

  2. I can only imagine that will make the ride not terrible for most people. Most reviews have said that the roughness could be tolerable if it weren’t for those terrible restraints.

  3. AMAZING!!! Now I feel like I kind of have to re-ride it but I don’t live anywhere near there haha. Super happy for those who are still awaiting their first ride! It’s a solid coaster.

  4. That’s awesome that the park is reacting directly to negative feedback by taking action. The ride is visually stunning, so I was really rooting for them to make it work.
