This has been known that Reddit is in partnership with Google and GPT so that their AI could be trained using the reddit data.
Another issue is, the traffic declination for shops might be far worse than blogs or hobby websites. My toy website is my sole source of income and google has been THE major source of traffic. There is still a large amount of procured toys in my warehouse to sell this year. The website makes most of the revenue via several periods like summer sales, school holidays and Christmas. With no hope of algorithm update later this year, basically I can predict Xmas is done. Most probably I have to find a job urgently now.
