Patriot Front White Supremacists March in Downtown Tallahassee, Take Photo at Old Capitol
Tallahassee, FL – In a shocking and disturbing display of white supremacy, a group of Patriot Front members marched through downtown Tallahassee today, stopping to take a photo in front of the historic Old Capitol building.
The group, dressed in white shirts and face masks, gathered at the corner of Monroe Street and Calhoun Street, near the Old Capitol, before proceeding to march through the streets of downtown Tallahassee. Witnesses described the group as chanting and holding signs, but the exact nature of their chants and signs was not immediately clear.
"It was a very intimidating and unsettling scene," said one witness, who wished to remain anonymous. "I was glad to get out of there as quickly as possible."
The Old Capitol, a historic landmark and symbol of state government, was a focal point of the march. The group stopped in front of the building, where they took a group photo, raising their arms in a symbolic gesture of white supremacy.
The march comes just days after a similar group, the Proud Boys, held a rally in Tallahassee, sparking controversy and outrage among local residents and community leaders.
Patriot Front, which is known for its white supremacist ideology and anti-Semitic beliefs, has been the subject of numerous reports and investigations into its activities. The group is classified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
