  1. They’ll fall in line. The religious right is so fucking weak it’s embarassing. They’re just idiotic traditionalists who refuse to let the world move forward when they know it’ll eventually happen.

  2. Usually, I just brush off all Trump controversies since nothing really hurts his support, but his abortion comments were widely condemned by the base and other Republicans, to the point where he had to reverse his position in less than 24 hours.

Now you have some prominent pro-life people saying he has to earn back their support and that Trump has betrayed them, etc, etc. Then this morning, Trump’s campaign advisor went on Fox News and was trying to downplay Trump’s abortion comments and saying pro-life people have to vote for him, otherwise they’re ‘endorsing’ Harris’s position on the matter.

So it looks like they’re trying to mitigate fallout and get pro-life people back on their side. Maybe they have some internal data that shows pro-life people won’t vote in November?

What affect do you think these comments will have? Or will it just blow over a couple days like every other Trump controversy?

  3. Realistically very little will change. It wouldn’t be logical to not vote Trump for being “too pro choice” when Democrats want to bring back Roe v Wade and Trump can’t run for reelection if he wins
