  1. From memory the Power of love sounds more realistic so probably a sample. Van Halen used an Oberheim OBX or OB-XA for that song and every soft synth recreation of one of those comes with a decent patch of that. I think there is a free one out there so you could find one and reverse engineer it on whatever you have.

    YouTube has some good basic design tutorials.
