I’ve been thinking about starting a newsletter, but honestly, I’m doubting myself a bit. I trade options and spend a lot of time reading about companies and the market. Sometimes I notice trends or things happening way before they show up in the news.

I want to write a newsletter a couple of times a week, but I’m not sure where to start.

Anyone have advice on how to get over the self-doubt? And how do you even find readers for something like this?

Would really appreciate any tips or personal experiences!

  2. If you have the desire to do it and are able to write a couple of times a week, 100% go for it!

    Trading is a great niche with a highly engaged audience and good monetisation opportunities.
    The once you start publishing, you’ll get into a rhythm with it and get better with each send. Don’t focus too much on growing your audience until you have 5+ posts and are happy with your email structure.

    Post about your subject, and those trends you notice. Connect with others in the niche. See what works, and what doesn’t.

    From there you’ll be able to get over, or understand your fears, and then start/promote your newsletter.

    If you don’t want to be a public figure, you can create and use a brand/person. If it doesn’t work out, just delete/abandon the account.
