Well good afternoon everyone, thank you for coming today.
I’d like to start off by acknowledging the traditional custodians of the land we meet on today, the Arrernte people. I’d also like to extend my respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples here with us today.

Journalist 1: Jordology, model-S007 has run a campaign that is focused solely on “locking you up” and having you face the consequences for the EMP incident. What are your thoughts on the campaign?
Jordology: Well, quite frankly it’s stupid. What S007 fails to remember is that the Chinese chose not to pursue legal action against me! So before he starts trying to mount a campaign to get his so-called justice, he needs to respect the wishes of the people who were impacted most by the EMP incident! The Chinese! S007 simply wants to get me out of the picture, so he can continue to spread his hate for the LGBTQIA+ community. In his most recent interviews, he didn't even try to deny his hate! Yet here I am, fighting for Territorians and spreading love and positivity! As was most poignantly said in Descendants: The Rise of Red, “It's really not a secret recipe, a little butter, flour, sugar, and a lot of positivity! Honestly, it always works for me! That's why I got enough to go around, for everyone I see!”. Positivity and love will always conquer hate, and the sooner S007 realises that, the better.

Journalist 2: Jordology, there are claims S007 conducted an interview with Australia Tonight, but AT is denying that the interview occurred with the network. Thoughts?
Jordology: Well, I think it’s abundantly clear that S007 has misled the public and has attempted to impersonate a news network he doesn’t own. I mean, AT tweeted themselves, “Australia Tonight is aware of claims that an interview with s007 was conducted with our network. We can confirm this is not the case, and formally request all involved to publicly admit so and immediately withdraw the publication of this programme.”. I think that makes it extremely clear that S007 is lying to Australians, pretending networks are begging him for an interview, when I think people will find that networks are actually trying to steer clear of him and his transphobic and homophobic views. This attempt to impersonate Australia Tonight just shows how desperate S007 is and it proves that he is willing to do anything to gain power, and that is extremely dangerous. S007 isn’t fit for office, and I am confident Territorians will reject him at the ballot box. I stand with Australia Tonight in their calls for those involved in the impersonation of the network to admit their wrongdoing and retract the false publication of the programme.

Journalist 3: Jordology, you’ve recently publicly come out as bisexual. This has been met with widespread praise and support, however S007 has responded saying that you’re just “hiding behind the LGBTQIA+ community” and said “If he cared so much, why hasn't he been supporting their causes before this?”, also calling you coming out “downright offensive”. What are your thoughts on this?
Jordology: I’m utterly disgusted. S007 has no right to criticise me coming out, and has no right to question why I have been silent to the public on my sexuality for so long. The fact he said I am just hiding behind the LGBTQIA+ community is shameful and he should apologise. He has no right to question why I have been silent until now, but if he must know, it’s because I have been grappling with significant depression for a while now, and I simply wasn’t ready to face the criticism from people like S007 that would inevitably come from such an announcement. Everyone has a different coming out story, and now this is mine. It’s just a shame it's been overshadowed by a transphobic, homophobic former MP who is hellbent on creating division in Australia. S007 has made it clear that if he is the next Member for Lingiari, the LGBTQIA+ community will not be welcome in the Northern Territory. Meanwhile I was overjoyed to attend the Wear it Purple day events at Darwin High School on the 30th of August, where I talked with many LGBTQIA+ students and listened to their hopes for a more accepting and equal NT. S007 and I are not the same.

Journalist 4: Jordology, S007 has talked about a new tribunal examining politicians and their actions. What do you think of this?
Jordology: Thanks for the question. Well, of course I support greater accountability for all elected officials, because accountability as Don Chipp once said will “keep the bastards honest”. While I do welcome more accountability, I do not support S007’s proposal. Until he puts forward a genuine policy paper and has this proposal costed by Treasury, I will not see it as a genuine proposal. What I would like to focus on instead, if reelected as the Member for Lingiari, is establishing a National Anti-Corruption Commission, so that we can have real and complete accountability for the actions of all members of the public service and parliament, to ensure we do things right. S007’s “proposalïs nothing but a political witch hunt, as much as he may deny it. It is simply a way for him to attack me, disguised behind a self-righteous idea that he thinks will make him look good. It’s stupid and will get Australia nowhere. S007 needs to be held accountable himself, for his shameful behaviour and complete lack of awareness for the impacts of his actions. He doesn’t act like someone who should be an elected Member of Parliament. He acts like a child who’s had their toy taken from them. He is, quite literally, spitting the dummy, because he didn’t get his own way. And that speaks volumes for his character.

Journalist 5: Jordology, S007 has received widespread criticism for his decision to suddenly resign as the Member for Hotham so he could contest the seat of Lingiari. What is your take on that?
Jordology: S007 is a self-centred prick who only cares about himself. His actions have left Hotham without a representative, meaning they have no one fighting for them in the last two weeks of parliament. S007 isn’t a true representative, he is someone who abandons those who trust him for his own political gain. And that is something that constituents in Lingiari should be extremely wary of. If S007 is prepared to ditch Hotham the second he decides to try and get rid of me, imagine what he’s prepared to do as the Member for Lingiari! I doubt he’ll last a month before he gets tired of the job and resigns again! It just shows that with S007, there’s no commitment, and no courage, just lies. Lingiari cannot risk having him as their representative, because he brings uncertainty and hate wherever he goes. Lingiari has come so far since I was first elected as MP, we can’t afford to lose all that progress now.
