Frequently I find myself reading a news article on a man or men murdering or SA a woman. How does one come to commit such murders? These male crimes always precede with some form of suffering usually the inability to get women, to get sex. But why all of this hatred towards women who reject them? It’s not even the supposed ‘hatred’ that women have of men; the fear that you may kill her or see her as less than you and so on. Rather simply because she rejects you.
People speak of society’s attitudes towards young boys and how we should shift parent’s behaviors towards them; to teach them how to treat women more like equals and essentially it sounds absurd but treat them like sentient beings. I’m beginning to think it doesn’t work but the rates of violence only seem to increase.
Most people acknowledge that most men albeit the intrinsic nature of values of women that men obtain that may be labeled sexist, most men aren’t going to SA or murder. We as humans differentiate between good and bad relative to the effects it has on the person. Ultimately we don’t want to inflict pain on another because we understand the consequences of it ourselves.
Regardless there’s no way for a woman to differentiate between a good and bad a man so naturally she’s not going to trust either. This is where misandrist mentality commences; women are never entirely sure ever if they are safe or not. Misandrist exists as a result of misogyny. That’s why it’s justifiable; a misandrist is not going to kill you for not giving her what she wants, rather she’s angry that you think you have complete authority over her. This is a really dumb take , ngl. You can’t justify sexism ,if you can justify sexism towards men then what’s stopping someone from justifying racism for instance? This also can be used to justify the persecution of basically anyone if you really think about it.
