In a shocking turn of events, the cryptocurrency Aurora (Klatherine) has imploded, leaving thousands of investors in the dark and reeling from the sudden collapse. What was once touted as the next big thing in the world of cryptocurrency has been exposed as a fraudulent scheme, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
The Rise to Fame
Aurora (Klatherine) was launched in 2020 with a lot of fanfare, promising a decentralized and secure platform for cryptocurrency transactions. The team behind the project, led by enigmatic founder Klatherine, touted the project as a game-changer, claiming it would revolutionize the way people conducted financial transactions.
The hype surrounding Aurora (Klatherine) was palpable, with many investors flocking to the platform in search of quick profits. The cryptocurrency’s value soared, with some predicting it would reach the moon.
The Fall from Grace
But behind the scenes, things were not as they seemed. Investigations have revealed that the team behind Aurora (Klatherine) was engaged in a massive Ponzi scheme, using funds from new investors to pay off earlier investors.
As the scheme began to unravel, panic set in, and the value of Aurora (Klatherine) began to plummet. The cryptocurrency’s market capitalization, which had reached a high of $1 billion, is now worth a mere fraction of that.
The Consequences
The collapse of Aurora (Klatherine) has sent shockwaves throughout the cryptocurrency community, with many investors left financially ruined. The incident has also raised questions about the regulatory environment surrounding cryptocurrencies and the lack of oversight that allows such schemes to flourish.
The team behind Aurora (Klatherine) has gone into hiding, with many of its members reportedly fleeing the country.
The Aftermath
The collapse of Aurora (Klatherine) is a stark reminder of the risks involved in investing in cryptocurrencies. It is also a wake-up call for regulators to take a closer look at the industry and ensure that such schemes do not happen again.
In the meantime, investors are left to pick up the pieces and try to recoup their losses. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of due diligence and the need for transparency in the world of cryptocurrencies.

It was a desolate night, as Katherine Pierce walked towards the compound after ending up in New Orleans after coming back to life. She was going to the compound, since she was human and New Orleans was more dangerous than Mystic Falls. Especially, when you had a price on your head like she did. The Mikaelsons were her best protection. Besides, she’d have to face Elijah and Klaus eventually.
She walked inside the compound to see an argument between Klaus, Elijah, and a girl she didn’t know nor recognize. That’s when everyone looked at her, clearly sensing human in the room.
“Katerina?” Elijah inquired, as he looked at her.
“Hello, Elijah,” she greeted.
Klaus looked at her, silent, but with an angry face between seeing her and having an argument with Aura, whom he had pinned against a wall with an arm against her throat.
“What are you doing here, Katerina?” he had to ask, knowing she had died human, but hadn’t told Elijah.
“Good question. Why are you here, Katerina, and clearly human? What has happened?” Elijah inquired of his ex-girlfriend.
“Long story. Elena shoved the cure down my throat five or so years ago, and I died of old age. Before I could though, I realized I wanted to live a little longer, so I body jumped into Elena for a while. I’m descended from Travelers as my long-lost vampire daughter told me before she got bitten by Tyler. After they found out, Stefan killed me with the Traveler knife, and instead of being allowed to go to the Other Side, I was sucked into oblivion by a black mass, and ended up in a prison world. I just escaped it tonight. I thought I would be going back to Mystic Falls, but I guess the ascendant had other plans,” she informed both Mikaelsons, though she knew that Klaus had known about her dying of old age.
“Why didn’t you call? I could’ve saved you,” Elijah replied.
“Because I was angry at you for leaving, and it couldn’t be stopped. I went to an expert and he said that I couldn’t be fixed or helped in any way.”
“I’m sorry for your loss, luv. The loss of a child is hard to get through. You should have called. I would have saved her. We could have had some kind of agreement,” Klaus said, knowing somewhat of the pain when he’d had to give Hope to Rebekah.
Katherine gave a smile.
“Thanks. I appreciate that, Klaus.”
He smiled back, no longer angry at her presence.
“Welcome to New Orleans, Katerina. You may help yourself to anything you’d like,” Klaus said.
“Thanks. And who’s this?” she said.
Klaus let Aurora go finally.
“Long story luv, but she’s my ex from centuries ago. Rebekah is the one who turned her though, and Elijah is the one who compelled her not to go with us. She has a brother Tristan and is friends with an old friend of mine Lucien, who I turned,” the hybrid answered his former doppelganger.
“Well, thanks for the hospitality. I’m going to go choose a room,” she replied, before heading upstairs to go crash.
While both brothers had been distracted by Katherine, Aura had blurred off to where she and Lucien were staying at. She knew both of them well enough that she realized that not only did they know her, but Nik didn’t care much for her, and Elijah cared deeply for her. That had given her an idea of how to get back at both of them. She’d capture and use her to get to them. She knew that if Elijah cared enough or loved her, he’d die for her. As for Nik, she knew they weren’t at a trusting relationship, but if she went after his brother, he’d die for him. And she knew that Nik still cared for her, even though he loved Cami. It was the best plan ever, and Nik wouldn’t kill her no matter what, so she would get out of this alive without a doubt.
After choosing a guest room between Kol and Klaus’ room, Katherine closed the door and walked over to the bed. Being in a prison world and coming back to life took a toll on a person. She was tired, so she layed down and fell asleep.
Cami walked into the compound to speak to Klaus about what she thought Lucien was doing to the humans, yet again, though she knew that Klaus didn’t believe that Lucien would do something so heinous. Even if it wasn’t Lucien, she wanted Klaus to look into who was doing this and why.
When she walked in, he was having a shot glass of bourbon, enjoying himself, though she didn’t know why. There was a supernatural killer on the loose. He should be finding out who it is and punishing the killer in whatever way Klaus saw fit.
“If you’ve come to talk to me about those crimes being committed, Camille, why don’t you go elsewhere. Lucien has nothing to do with them,” Klaus said, before she could say anything.
“And what makes you think that? Do you keep tabs on him 24/7? Do you have a spy I don’t know about?” she inquired of him.
“Just go, Camille. You’re spoiling my mood,” he replied.
“Fine,” she replied with an angry look, before leaving the compound.
Klaus watched her go, but his silence was short lived, when Rebekah came storming in with a brisk walk, stopping at the front of the parlor entrance.
“What the bloody hell is she doing here!?” she blurted in anger, having found out that Katherine was here who she despised.
“Calm down, dear sister. I’ve given her our hospitality. I expect you to play nice. She’s been through hell,” he warned.
“She doesn’t deserve to be here. She’s done more to this family than some of us have. She has no right to be here or to be human. You know how much I’ve wanted to be human again, Nik,” she ranted to him. She clearly didn’t want her living under the Mikaelson roof. She had wanted to be human ever since they had found out about the cure. Katherine had clearly taken it, and Klaus was clearly in on some news she had been left out of. She knew now that her door to being human and living and dying as she wanted was gone. It would never reopen again, which upset and infuriated her. She never got what she wanted but somehow, even human, Katherine always got.
Kol walked in for a drink after some time with Davina.
“What’s going on, Nik?” he inquired, seeing that their youngest sister was being all worked up and having a tantrum.
“Well dear brother, I’ve given Katerina our hospitality and ‘Bekah is voicing her distaste of it. You know how much she despises Katerina,” Klaus answered his older brother.
Kol looked at Rebekah.
“Why don’t you blow off steam with extracurricular activities.” Kol looked at his brother. “I think it’s long overdue that I meet the famous Katherine.” Kol left the parlor to go find the room she was in. He’d wanted to meet her for centuries, but he’d spent so long in a coffin that he hadn’t had the delightfulness to meet the lovely Katherine Pierce.
Rebekah left the compound, while Kol went to find the famous Katherine.
Katherine was awake now, when there was a knock on the door.
She walked over and opened the door, only to see someone she’d never met before. He had to be a Mikaelson, so she could only assume that this was the famous Kol she’d heard so much about for centuries.
“Forgive my intrusion darlin’, but I heard you were here and couldn’t resist meeting you at last. I’m Kol Mikaelson.” He gave a smile.
She gave a smile. “Well, it’s nice to meet you at last, Kol. I’ve heard of you over the centuries and have always wanted to meet you. As a vampire, we would’ve been a lot alike, but not anymore. I’m not exactly who I was when I was a vampire. Now, if you don’t mind, I’d like to be left alone for a while.” She was being nice about it, though she figured Kol had been expecting something more. She hated to disappoint, but she wanted to be alone until she was ready to live her human life. Right now, she was still grieving for Nadia.
“Then we can get to know each other when you’re feeling up to it, luv,” he replied, before going. He understood wanting to be alone. She was adjusting to being alive and human. She needed time by herself.
“This must be Katherine. Nice to meet you. I’m Freya,” a girl she’d never met greeted, when she saw her.
She gave a smile. “That’s me. I’d rather get to know you later, though.”
After Freya had left, she closed the door and was going to go back to the bed, but then she felt something hit her from behind and everything went black.
After a while, Elijah decided to go check up on Katerina. When she didn’t answer the door though, he opened it to see that the room was empty. Seeing that and a small amount of blood on the floor, he knew she hadn’t left. She’d been taken and he knew who had taken her.
“Aurora,” he stated, before blurring downstairs to inform his siblings. They couldn’t just go rescue her. There had to be a plan. Aura was crazy, but she always had a plan. She had to have realized what Katerina meant to him. She was angry himself and Klaus. This had to be her punishment for him. For both of them even.
A few hours later, when she woke up, she saw that she was in some gym-like place with some vampires in the background. No, she realized, looking closer. They weren’t vampires yet. They had to feed first.
“Finally,” Aura greeted.
Katherine got to her feet and turned to face her. “Aura.”
“Tell me the story with Elijah and Nik. What do you mean to them? Why would an Original care for a human?” Aura inquired of her.
“I’m not just any human. I used to be a 500-year-old vampire until the cure was shoved down my throat. I was bested by my doppelganger, died of old age, and then came back to life after escaping a prison world. My story is tragic, because Klaus slaughtered my family for running from him. My long-lost daughter was bitten, and I had to watch her die before I died. Klaus doesn’t love me, but we are alike. Elijah and I were in love for 500 years, but he left and never looked back. He still cares, but I don’t think he loves me,” Katherine summarized. “There. Happy? Now, why don’t you just let me go?”
“I want details. How are you two alike? I’m not letting you go until someone comes to your rescue,” she replied.
“You clearly don’t know me. I’m Katherine Pierce. I’m a survivor, and I don’t let anyone order me around. You might as well just sit here in silence, because I’m not telling you anything else. I’ve been in your shoes before. I know how this goes. If I’m not rescued and I don’t tell you what you want to know, I’m going to be killed by your pets or you. Well, unlike most humans, I’m not afraid to die. And no degree of torture will change anything,” Katherine replied, stepping forward a few steps. What she’d said was true, but for the most part, she was trying to stall her until they could save her from Aura.
“You’re quite the fearless human, aren’t you?” Aura inquired.
Meanwhile, Klaus and Elijah were searching everywhere for Aura and Katherine, going separate directions. Elijah was by himself, while Klaus was with Lucien. When Lucien got annoying though, Klaus snapped his neck and went in search of them alone.
That night, when Klaus was looking for Katerina, he ran into Aura. When he did, he tried to get her to tell him where Katerina was, but Aura just gave him riddles. He did hear what was going on in the gym and blurred off to save her.
Meanwhile, Katherine was facing the last three guys whom were in transition. She’d taken two out with a long stick through the heart. Now, there were three left. She knew she was outmatched. She was a fighter, though. She was going to go down fighting if she wasn’t going to survive this fight.
After a few minutes, she was unsuccessful in killing any more of them, and one sunk its fangs into the side of her neck. The other two began to start towards them, as her vision began to go, and she knew that if no one came soon, she was going to die. Sometimes being human sucked for her, but dying didn’t scare her. She’d died before.
When Klaus walked in, he saw a few guys in transition, two walking towards her and one feeding from her. For the sake of Elijah and because he knew she didn’t deserve to die, he blurred behind the two in transition and ripped out their hearts, killing them simultaneously, saving Katerina. Then he blurred behind the one that was feeding from her and ripped his heart out as well. Then, before she could hit the cement floor, he used his hybrid reflexes to catch her. He then knelt on the floor and gently pulled her into his arms. He didn’t know if she could digest vampire blood, considering the last time she’d been human, but he was a hybrid. Not just a mere vampire. So, deciding to try it, he bit his wrist and put it to her lips, making his blood go down her throat.
“Stay with me, Katerina, luv,” he said, as he fed her his blood to heal and save her.
Once she’d healed from his blood, he took his wrist away, which instantly healed, and got to his feet with her in his arms.
Once in her room, he gently layed her down on her bed and then left the room and called Elijah.
After Elijah had been informed, he went home to make sure that Katerina was okay. Aura could be ruthless.
When Katherine woke up, she saw that she was in her bed and healed. She also saw Freya seated on her bedside, obviously having been waiting for her to wake up. Though she didn’t know her very well, she assumed that she could trust her. She didn’t know how long she’d been out either, or who had saved her.
She sat up in bed.
“Where are Elijah and Klaus? Who saved me?” Katherine questioned her.
“Klaus saved you, and Elijah and Klaus are looking for Aura.”
“I should be out there looking with them. She deserves to be punished for what she has done.”
“You’re human, Katherine. There isn’t much you can do.”
Kol leaned against the threshold.
“You clearly don’t know what dear Katherine is capable of, human or not, dear sister. Once she sets her mind on something, there’s no stopping her. I’ll escort her through the French Quarter for safety. I think it’s best to keep Rebekah away from her.”
Freya knew Kol was right. She didn’t know her, but if Kol was right, it would be wrong to keep her here unwillingly. She knew what it was like to be a prisoner. Katherine didn’t deserve that. Besides, from what Kol had said, it reminded her of herself and Davina.
“Then you best get her safely to them before they find Aura,” Freya replied.
Katherine got up and followed Kol, walking at his side, happy that she didn’t get stuck with Rebekah.
An hour later, Katherine found Elijah and Klaus in the bayou. She saw Elijah in the distance, as Klaus stood face to face with Aura. Klaus saw Elijah too, a moment before Aura, but when Aura saw Elijah, she used the gun to shoot him, before training it on Klaus.
Immediately, Klaus got the upperhand so that Aura was on the ground, and Klaus stood over her with the gun aimed at her.
“Please don’t, Nik,” she said in a begging voice, which made him hesitate, debating on how to handle her. That was all she needed, because she made him land on the ground and she grabbed the gun. Then she and Klaus fought over the gun some more.
While Aura was distracted by Klaus, Katherine raced towards where Elijah lay in pain, as fast as she could, knowing what was in that gun. There was only one weapon that could bring down an Original, and she wouldn’t lose Elijah, whether they were in love or not.
She knelt beside him.
“Elijah,” she said worriedly.
“Katerina,” he replied. “Get out of here. It’s too dangerous.”
“Never. I’m not leaving you. I’m not going to let you die either.”
She looked down at where he’d been shot at and knew what she had to do. She couldn’t reach inside him for the bullets due to being human now, but she could magically get them out with Traveler magic.
A few minutes later, she’d done that.
Later on, Klaus put her in the Garden for punishment and Elijah was soon recovered.
That night, Kat stood on the balcony, overlooking the compound downstairs, when she heard a voice.
“Thank you for your help, Katerina,” Klaus said, leaning in the threshold of her bedroom.
“Well, I may not care for some Mikaelsons, but I don’t want any of you dead.”
She heard air and a moment later, felt his presence behind her.
“I mean it, Katerina. Despite everything, you risked your life to help us with Aura. We owe you our lives.”
She turned around to face him.
“I’m glad you’re thankful for my help, but I’m not keeping score. I’m not your enemy anymore. I’m just me, but if someone is a threat, I’ll be there to save you all.”
She gave a smile and he smiled back.
“I’m glad to have you on our side, luv,” he replied.
A moment later, they were kissing.
