Google Business Profile Appointment Link Still Unavailable After Months of Trying
[Date] – In a shocking turn of events, many small business owners are still struggling to change their Google Business Profile’s appointment link, despite months of trying.
The issue, which has been plaguing businesses since the feature was introduced, has left many frustrated and searching for alternative solutions.
"We’ve been trying to change our appointment link for months, but it just won’t work," said Sarah Johnson, owner of a local salon. "It’s really frustrating, especially since we rely heavily on online bookings."
The appointment link feature, which allows customers to book appointments directly from a business’s Google Business Profile, was introduced as a way to streamline the booking process and increase customer convenience.

After months of going in circles, documented in my post here and here we still can't get rid of the Appointment link on our business profile.
The good news is we now have the booking tab:
However, even after deleting the Appointment link, the old one still sticks on the Business Profile.
We also can't seem to add a new link because we keep getting this error (not that the screen shot show an example URL but we've tried our official URL in real life):
The error says the booking type doesn't match the business. Has anyone encountered this issue and fixed it?
