I can't wait for this election to be over. My dad, who's 70, watches TV with an antenna, so he only gets a few channels, including a paid program from the My Pillow guy, who spreads a lot of negativity about the Democratic Party. He takes it as real news and starts echoing all this Trump rhetoric. I reminded him that we’ve lived in Los Angeles our whole lives and have seen crime rise and fall over the years. For him to claim that crime is only a problem because of Biden is just baffling to me. He also believes some wild things, like that people are eating cats, and thinks drug issues are new because of Biden, even though we've been dealing with these problems for as long as I can remember.

The brainwashing is real, it’s hard to snap them out of it
When Biden won, I thought my parents would finally stop their insane MSM 24-7 news cycle addiction. But nope. It was still nothing but anti-Trump agitation every day, all day. Because that’s the bread and butter for these outlets. Win or lose, your old man is not going to change after the election, OP. You’ll just have to find ways to change the subject, basically.
They are to control the people and make them feel they have a say to this madness. Knowing this ticks me off too.
