BREAKING: "Taxi Strife" Reaches Epidemic Proportions; Online Community Rallies in Support of Uber Victims
**[Sevilla, Spain] – Amidst the ongoing debates between taxi companies and ride-sharing services, a widespread "Taxi Strife" has taken over online discourse, with numerous social media users sharing their disastrous and often hilarious experiences with hapless taxi drivers and "bad apples" on ridesharing platforms.
At the heart of this conflict lies the age-old tension between traditional taxi drivers who feel threatened by new apps and innovative transportation companies providing a more affordable, faster, and more modern traveling experience for consumers.
It appears that the most effective way to vent out taxi-related frustrations is not – as you might assume – by bashing those wretched cabs in traditional media, but, surprise, surprise, via shared online tales of Taxi-Woe, with accompanying warnings to potential riders not to fall victim to louse-ridden, money-counting, and navigation-unaware cabbies.
TAXI & UBER HORRORTALES:
– Emma, 32: While trying to get a reasonable ride from the Airport-Rail Link to Central Helsinki, a taxi "cabbie" repeatedly circled the block – because, according to Emma herself, he was stuck playing Candy Crush on his Galaxy S10.
"I gave up after 5 rings and a 12-meter radius – the hell – I paid for – paid for!"
– Ben F., 29, when asked about his horrific drive from LAX: (Ben: "Yeah… the last fella who picked up those 10 fares then hit the red light three times in that space, 3’55" total. At our expense..")
"What a total waste," comments Ben.
– Tom "T", 33:. "Tried hitch-free, hitch-free on line 6. When? 7:11" – I asked and. 2. No comment.
– ‘Elle’: "If those taxi services don’t pay for that, [driver].."
Among the top concerns were fare hikes, traffic-induced inefficiencies, and downright dangerous driving, with complaints targeting both taxis and app-service drivers alike.
Now while some claim that we now have to deal, deal with Uber, I truly believe the "other-side" should be fair because we don’t – so we are –.
At the moment, for reasons that seem to confund me (or confuse other people) and all

Taxi Strife Hits Home, as Strain on Services Grows for Taxi Riders
[To be continued… stay tuned!
Taxi driver kept asking if I want taxi. I kept telling him uber.
Taxi wants to charge me double.
Uber driver parked his car around 5 minutes around 1000 feet for me. After 5 minutes I canceled, no charge.
Then taxi driver, said,I am ready now. Asking 5x. Then he goes to another taxi pointing at me
I called another uber and 5 minutes later, he showed up 5 minutes later.
Also I drink by the border, some taxi drivers beat up a guy around 7 years ago.
They are nothing but thugs. It really has not gotten better, the city tried clean the thugs if taxis, but now they just make fun of the uber passengers or say they are cheaper.
Note they are not cheaper even with surge going on
Then that one driver tried collecting hus cancel fee, not sure if he got it, but I paid nothing after him staying in one spot

The taxi driver charges you double because the city told him that’s what he charges you. Taxis don’t ever get to set their own prices. This is why Uber took over the industry since they just ignored the local laws.
