As a child, Dan was often bullied due to his appearance. The Beatles became his only friend. One day, he decided to save up his life savings for plastic surgery. He wanted to look handsome and cute, like Paul McCartney. Dan reclined on the operating bed, and took his last deep breaths. He felt both anxious and excited. He closed his eyes, and knew that the moment that would change the rest of his life forever had finally come. No more bullying, he thought to himself. No more pain. Before he knew it, he was knocked unconscious. When he had finally woken up, his face felt extremely painful. Immediately he could tell that the doctors around him looked nervous, and he knew something wasn't right. The doctors said it would be best if he stayed in the hospital for a few days to recover. Dan declined the offer, and was allowed to go home. As he went into the nearest restroom, he saw a reflection of his face. He almost didn't recognize himself. Some features did resemble Macca, but in a very deformed way. He looked like a deformed James Paul McCartney. A few months later, it was announced that Paul McCartney was playing in his area. Excited at the opportunity to finally see his lifelong idol, he bought a meet and greet pass. At the stadium, the people he had passed made cruel remarks after seeing the pseudo-resemblance he had to Paul. One of them shouted "Paul McDeformity" at him. Dan put the audience member's reactions aside, not realizing how this would foreshadow the way the legend himself would treat him. Thinking he knew more about Paul than everyone else at the place, he thought Paul would be the one to treat him nice. When Paul finally entered the stage, Dan couldn't believe he was finally able to see his obsession in person. Dan enjoyed the concert, and sang along to most of the songs. When it was time for the meet and greet experience, Dan was excited, but something in the back of his mind was warning him. He didn't realize what the warning was for. Paul smiled and greeted everyone in front of him, but unintentionally gave Dan a funny look. When it was his turn to meet him, Paul tried his best to be friendly. Inside, Paul was immediately disturbed. "How could someone do this to themselves?" He thought. "Is my music really causing more harm than good?" Dan almost passed out. It felt like a religious experience for him. He was afraid to cause more harm to Macca than he actually already did, so he just said "Thank you for changing my life!" and walked away. The next morning, Dan saw on the news that Paul McCartney had committed suicide, and his last wish was for all of his impact on the world to be removed.
