Once again, my two favorite teams (Eagles and Fighters) faced off, leading to mixed emotions.
It was very kind of the Fighters to let the Eagles take the W so they are back at .500. But, I was sad that the Eagles are out of the pennant race.
These are the sort of things you accept if you love the Eagles, I think. You cheerfully take the small W of getting back to .500, and have a sad, quiet moment to reflect on the season getting mathematically capped.
