  1. Yeah man, sad state of affairs. It alarming to know that not even a most basic device is safe from cyber attacks.

    Israel is the permanent military post of US in the middle east. US is 1000% backing and helping Israel since inception and forever.

  2. Major failure in operational security. 

    Common sense says you don’t just hand these things out to your people without inspecting them for tampering/sabotage, especially when they were ordered from a foreign place that you don’t have oversight of. 

  3. It was actually pretty interesting, this form of technological terrorism. I’m going with the theory that Mossad intercepted pagers meant for Lebanon and planted mini explosives inside them.

    Shorting a Li-Ion battery, by whatever means, shouldn’t cause an explosion of this kind.

  4. In my opinion, that is pretty impressive. I’ve never heard of anything like that happening ever.
    This is what happens when you put your faith over science and tech. You can just pray to God and cry in front of the world, but the fact is that the ones more technologically advanced can do anything they want, and you can do nothing about it.
