Five Individuals Charged in Connection with Human Trafficking Ring in the Greater Toronto Area

A joint investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Peel Regional Police, and the Toronto Police Service has led to the arrest and charging of five individuals in connection with a human trafficking ring operating in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
The suspects, four men and one woman, were arrested and charged on March 9, 2023, after an extensive investigation that spanned several months. The investigation was launched in response to reports of human trafficking in the GTA.
According to police, the human trafficking ring was involved in recruiting and exploiting vulnerable individuals, including women and children, for forced labor and sexual exploitation.
The charged individuals are:

Jonathan Bennett and Shuwayne Mitchell face one count each of procuring—exercise control. The charges have not been tested in court.
“Casino Barnes?” “Lady SB?” These low-lifes really fancy themselves to be somebody important.
It would be nice if they really did hard time for their disgusting actions, but it’s doubtful. If it follows the pattern the Canadian court system they’ll be out on bail quickly and eventually picked up for committing something else.
