AA 2639 supposed to take off at 3:12, says it’s on time but they just changed the gate. I looked at where it’s coming from and it’s delayed out of CLT (AA 1650), it hasn’t taken off yet, and they’re saying it’s not meant to land til 3:19 here. Any news on how CLT is now with departures? I have an event tonight so I need to be there somewhat on time, a slight delay is ok.

  1. I’m in the Charlotte area, the bad weather is definitely clearing out and Flightradar shows planes coming and going from CLT. It might be delayed (and have to fly around the storm en route to Chicago, adding extra time) but it should get to ORD at some point this afternoon. As long as you don’t have a connection to make in SFO or something else important going on tonight I’d say just keep your current itinerary
