Apparently the New York Knicks just pulled the trigger, trading away Julius Randle and Donte for Karl Anthony Towns. Knicks also added an additional first round pick in the process
To think we could’ve traded BI for KAT, I’m bummed right now
This is great news for us as the Wolves got weaker, West is even more wide open now
Man I wished Griff could’ve pulled the trigger instead
What do you guys think of this trade? If the FO decide to trade BI, who is available now that KAT is off the market?

Wolves probably didn’t want to move him in conference.

KAT would have been a big pickup but they would have tried to fleece us because it would be a conference trade. Plus Ant ain’t trying to play with BI
I wouldn’t call it great news, Randle is very good in his own right, 3x allstar and 2x all NBA..plus they also get an elite shooter in Donte who can also play defense, and hustle. Randle’s fit will be interesting, but they still have Naz Reid, etc..and they did well enough when KAT was out last year.
