BREAKING NEWS
MADISON, WI – Governor Tony Evers has just announced a new initiative aimed at addressing the growing concerns over water pollution in Wisconsin’s lakes and rivers.
According to the Governor’s office, the new initiative will focus on increasing funding for water quality testing and monitoring, as well as implementing new regulations to curb pollution from agricultural runoff and other sources.
The move comes in response to rising concerns over the health and environmental impacts of water pollution in the state. Earlier this year, a study by the University of Wisconsin-Madison found that nearly 1 in 5 Wisconsinites live in areas with high levels of pollutants in their drinking water.
"We understand the importance of clean and safe water to the health and well-being of all Wisconsinites," said Governor Evers. "This initiative is just the first step in a comprehensive effort to address water pollution in our state, and we look forward to working with the legislature, local communities, and other stakeholders to get the job done."
Under the new initiative, the state will increase funding for water quality testing and monitoring by 20% over the next two years, with a focus on testing in high-priority areas such as the Fox River and Lake Michigan.
Additionally, the state will work with local communities to develop and implement new regulations aimed at reducing pollution from agricultural runoff and other sources.
The Governor’s office says that the initiative will also include investments in wastewater treatment infrastructure, as well as education and outreach programs aimed at reducing pollution from everyday activities.

What school district was this?
Most of the time threats were from students who didn’t want to be in school, they all got caught in the most hilarious ways. Like phoning the school from a pay phone, inside the school. The issue is that we have become so used to processing threats that its like a standing dare at this point. Kids don’t understand why the parents are freaking out. This drives up the rate of reporting and of course since school are also more paranoid parents are being informed of far more incidents than ever before.
Before you freak to much. Check actual crime statistics for any one district or school. Leverage reality against the paranoia.
