  1. It’s ok to add over time as long the game feels like a complete game at launch. If the map is like 1/4 the size of GTAV with a 5 hour single player story at launch then there’s a huge problem. But the map is bigger than GTAV in both map and story at launch then ads additional areas on the map, I’m totally down for that.

  2. Just going to play Devil’s advocate here, I really doubt that’s the way to interpret it. Think about GTA online, over the years they’ve added and modified a pretty significant amount of the map. Benny’s, bunkers, the casino, Cayo Perico, and probably a whole bunch of little stuff.

Releasing an incomplete game (the way companies recently have) just isn’t their style, otherwise we’d already have the game in our hands. What’s more likely to me is that they’re intending for things to be added to this map, whether by making physical places to add content or even just making the underlying architecture of the game capable of easier expansion.

  3. It probably means that we won’t be able to explore the whole map in the beginning of the game, like we could do in others GTAs.

About the ” update ” thing. I think it means the map will change as time passes.

    Like in RDR 2.

Buildings were built, Trees were brought down, the map changed over time.

    Nothing new here.
