I'm trying to be as ethical with this as I possibly can.
I built a website for streamers (No, this isn't a advertisement) and its starting to get some traction with consistent online members. On the news feed, I have a "recommended streamer" for the pro members that embeds their stream, and adds a chat box so people can watch and chat right from the website, great, right? As the site gets bigger with more members, i'm noticing a uptick in the pro members streams, and as I look to see who's active in their chat, it's a good chunk of my websites members. In a panic, thinking that views don't count for embeds (they do… trust me!) i re-check the rules of Twitch's embeds and it does comply with them, but I'm more worried how this would be viewed as by others in the community (outside of my website, because obviously who doesn't love engagement in their streams?). Roughly half of my members are active in chats, but the others you can consider as a lurk.
what do you guys think? I know im not breaking any rules but i just want the ethical aspect to align…

People really don’t like Fextralife for this reason but normal people don’t really care.
If you’re not breaking rules you shouldn’t care either but you’ll probably get hate anyway
Are people paying you for front line exposure…? I’m confused.
I personally don’t like that if it’s a “pay to get seen” model. Paywalls create elitist, entitled spaces.
