A man accused of killing a Loranger mother and her 3-year-old child has been booked into jail in Mississippi, and an accused accomplice has been arrested in Jackson. Daniel Callihan, 36, was booked into the Rankin County Detention Center in Brandon, Mississippi, near Jackson.Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade announced that Victoria Cox, 32, was the accomplice arrested. She is in custody and being questioned by Jackson police. According to Wade, she is possibly Callihan’s girlfriend. Investigators are still trying to identify her role in connection with the murders. Wade said officers got a tip that Callihan may have an accomplice sometime on Thursday. They tracked Cox down to the Hotel OYO. “We’re still trying to determine her exact role,” Wade said. “She will be held accountable for her actions and her role in this horrific event that happened that spanned from Tangipahoa to South Jackson.
