League of Legends ARAM and Vanguard Systems Hit by Cheating Epidemic in Latest Update
Riot Games, the developers of the popular multiplayer online battle arena game League of Legends, have released a new update to their ARAM (All Random, All Mid) and Vanguard systems, but it seems that the update has brought a host of new issues, including a rampant cheating problem.
Players have been reporting instances of cheating, where opponents are using third-party software to gain an unfair advantage in games. This includes exploiting bugs and using cheats to manipulate the game’s physics, movement, and damage calculations.
The Impact on the Game
The cheating problem has been causing frustration among players, who are finding it difficult to compete fairly in the game. The issue is not limited to a few isolated incidents, but rather seems to be a widespread problem that is affecting a significant number of players.
Riot Games has been aware of the issue for some time, but has so far been unable to effectively address the problem. The company has promised to release a patch to fix the issue, but so far, there is no estimated release date for the fix.
The Consequences for Cheaters
Cheaters who are caught using third-party software to gain an unfair advantage will face penalties, including bans from the game. However, the process of identifying and punishing cheaters can be time-consuming and complex, and it may take some time for the issue to be fully addressed.
What’s Being Done to Fix the Issue
Riot Games is working to address the cheating problem through a combination of technical and gameplay changes. The company is also working with anti-cheat partners to improve the detection and punishment of cheaters.
In the meantime, players are advised to report any instances of cheating to the game’s moderators, who will investigate the matter and take appropriate action.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available. In the meantime, players are advised to exercise caution and report any instances of cheating to the game’s moderators.
So… remember when I originally responded and said that early in July 2024 that all the cheaters were due to Riot's "Summer Break", here's the proof:
"The most recent spike in ban throughput (on July 8th) was the direct result of a little something Riot likes to call “summer break,” and our returning from it was accompanied by a sudden burst in raw anti-cheat energy, nuking 35,000 scripters in just under 48 hours. While many were stunned to find that anti-cheaters even needed to sleep, please be assured that most of us are nearly 100% detectably human. We too love simple pleasures like looking at trees and ingesting nutrients, so a good week of respite only served to strengthen our resolve."

thus – while told I was crazy af – nope not even close, just saying positive proof and an "i told you so" as to why many people saw "way too many bots in ARAM" or even normal and ranked SR or Arena, etc. as "devs away on vacation, aka let their guard down for a couple weeks" — just saying for shits and giggles that my proposed theory wasn't wrong and all, etc. and now Riot has released the numbers in overall Vanguard development and testing and number of cheaters way back when it first was introduced and the numbers we see now — and sadly — can expect this drop during that 2-3 week break in mid-year and end-of-year around Christmas/Hanukkah or w/e holiday it is on other side of the world, etc. as Riot in their own words even confirms "cheaters step it up a notch and take advantage of these times when 'no one is standing guard to apply changes to code' for a couple weeks" — not asking for forgiveness and all but just throwing it out there just for gp and a heads up
