Indiana Beach Amusement Resort Removes OTSRs from Iconic All American Triple Loop Coaster

Indiana Beach Amusement Resort, a beloved destination in North America, has made a significant move by removing the Over-The-Shoulder Restraints (OTSRs) from its iconic All American Triple Loop coaster. This decision aims to enhance the overall ride experience and increase thrill levels for visitors.
The All American Triple Loop, one of the park’s most popular attractions, is a classic wooden coaster that features three loops and a steep drop. With the removal of OTSRs, riders will now have a more immersive experience, allowing them to feel the wind in their hair and the rush of adrenaline as they navigate the coaster’s twists and turns.
"We’re thrilled to introduce this new element to the All American Triple Loop experience," said an Indiana Beach spokesperson. "By removing the OTSRs, we’re giving our guests the freedom to enjoy the ride in a way that’s more authentic and exhilarating."

This is exciting. I haven’t been on it yet, but I’ve been on most of the other north american Schwartzkopf loopers, and I would expect this to be a pretty big improvement.
I can only imagine that will make the ride not terrible for most people. Most reviews have said that the roughness could be tolerable if it weren’t for those terrible restraints.

The only possible way to improve it more from a rider standpoint is the unrealistic option of turning off the trims, huge win for my favorite Schwarzkopf

is it just going to be a lap bar? or will it have those shoulder straps that it had before they moved it?
AMAZING!!! Now I feel like I kind of have to re-ride it but I don’t live anywhere near there haha. Super happy for those who are still awaiting their first ride! It’s a solid coaster.
I wasn’t ever going to ride this again. Now, I’ll probably give it another shot although those rollbacks are also concerning.
Glad I didn’t make it out to the park when I was in Indianapolis to play a show earlier this year.
This ride was getting a ton of “never again” reviews from people, so this seems like a no brainer fix. Glad they actually made it
That’s awesome that the park is reacting directly to negative feedback by taking action. The ride is visually stunning, so I was really rooting for them to make it work.
