Dude I live in Vienna. It’s an extremely safe city and the ‘terror plot’ was a couple of teenagers influenced by social media with no real plan afiak (correct me if I’m wrong!).
If there was a possibility of an attack the size this article is claiming, do you really think they’d allow multiple unsupervised larger gatherings in the days following the cancelled concerts? The Austrian government is fucked but they would never allow and encourage outside gatherings at all if this were the case.

Real talk – again, if this was such a massive threat, can someone explain why the Vienna Swifties didn’t receive any notice to stay away from the area? Or, hell, a cancellation notice? From the discussions around this sub, attendees say they didn’t receive any direct communication until way later.
I’m not going to challenge the seriousness of the threat, but the response from Taylor’s team was botched af. All that was needed was simple communication from the team and that didn’t happen.
