Good morning, yesterday afternoon we received the news that a couple of years ago a large piece of land was purchased on the outskirts of Cedar Valley village. The truth is that no one had heard about this until we received this notice.
On the front of the card we found the following message:
– "Cedar Valley Gardens is scheduled to open in the summer of 1969, in the meantime, to enliven the wait, we invite your publisher to follow the construction of the county's next great amusement park"
We were also given a contact person for the park and after talking to him we were invited to the construction site. So… we took our car and went there.
The entrance is charming, the tree in the middle of the lake conveys a great mystery.
A large forecourt of what appears to be the car park and a main avenue towards the entrance leaves us with a sign for the next new development "Cedar Valley Gardens".
It seems that they have been building this great pedestrian avenue in secret for a long time.
Will this great forest disappear? That worries me a lot
Our park contact took us to the furthest point of what looks like the car park and proudly showed us a huge railroad track. What the hell are they building here?
They are really huge, but he told us it's for the whole family to have fun.
He told us that these parts arrived this morning and have yet to arrive, but that in the coming months he will be able to give us more clues about what it is.
Those rails look like they will entertain thousands of visitors.
We talked and walked for a while longer with our contact. The area is beautiful, we have a couple of lakes full of vegetation and a lush forest. We have been told not to worry about this one. Much of the forest will remain intact and the aim is to use it to give the park the ambience it needs.
We will keep you informed of all developments.
