パリパラリンピックに、戦争などで自分の国から逃げて生活している難民の選手のチームが出ています。このチームの選手が初めてメダルを取りました。

 

メダルを取ったのは、アフガニスタン出身で25歳のザキア・フダダディ選手です。フダダディ選手は、テコンドーの女子47kg級に出ました。ウズベキスタンの選手に負けましたが、そのあとの試合に勝って、銅メダルを取りました。

 

 

 

難民の選手のチームは2016年のリオデジャネイロ大会から出ていますが、メダルを取ったのは初めてです。

 

フダダディ選手は「難民のために、そしてアフガニスタンの女性のために頑張りました。メダルを取ることができてうれしいです」と話しました。
