In a shocking turn of events, a woman has been diagnosed with Long Covid, a condition characterized by persistent and debilitating symptoms, despite having recovered from four previous COVID-19 infections.

The 35-year-old woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, has been battling the virus for months, experiencing a range of symptoms including chronic fatigue, muscle pain, and shortness of breath.

"I’m exhausted all the time, I can barely get out of bed," she said in an exclusive interview. "I’ve tried everything, from medication to therapy, but nothing seems to be working. It’s like my body is still fighting the virus, even though I’ve recovered."

The woman’s diagnosis has sent shockwaves through the medical community, as Long Covid is a relatively new phenomenon that has only recently been recognized as a distinct condition.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Long Covid is characterized by symptoms that persist for more than 12 weeks after the initial infection. However, in some cases, symptoms can last for months or even years.

The woman’s case highlights the need for further research into the causes and treatment of Long Covid, as well as the importance of ongoing support for those affected.

"I just want to be able to live my life without being held back by this virus," she said. "I hope that by sharing my story, I can help raise awareness and bring attention to this condition."

So I have been experiencing a ton of really bad symptoms for almost a year now. They thought it was anxiety but now I got the news that it is most likely long covid and I am scared that I am not going to get any better.
My symptoms include this huge list:
– undigested food in stool
-NO appetite (not low appetite)
– struggle to eat 3 meals a day
– NO thirst (not low thirst)
-Peeing only once a day everyday consistently no mater how much I drink.
-Pulsing noise in left ear, most noticeable when laying down or wearing headphones (pulsate tinnitus???) Now in right ear too and back of head
-Rapid weight loss, unexplained (occurred while able to feed self normally)
-Struggling immensely to put weight back on, feel very uncomfortable about body shape
-Vitamin d3 deficiency (Diagnosed)
– Don't feel sleepiness at all anymore
– Struggle every night to have a full or good sleep (takes long time to fall asleep, often wake up at night, lacking REM?)
– Became a light sleeper, now easily woken up
– Don't dream anymore
– feel my heart constantly thumping harder than is normal in my chest even while resting
– Feel cold more easily
– overall sense of touch and pain had been numbed (temp, sensitivity and sexual stimulation)
– sense of smell, taste and touch diminished
– increased sensitive to bright lights and loud noises
– often after eating experience uncomfortable tension around stomach area
– general sense of low energy, like body is heavier and has to be dragged
– brain fog (harder to think, expand on ideas, be creative etc.)
– now struggle with concentration, performing/initiating tasks e.g. striking up a conversation, writing an email
– feel very isolated, like am facing all this alone

No one really understands it. My brain fog and mood is so bad that I don't even feel anything and find it really hard to communicate with people and it's really taking a toll on family and friends I feel like I am stuck. I also find it very hard to make decisions and be myself. I just want to be somewhat normal my life was going so good before all of this and now I feel like I am dying everyday. Any advice on how to feel better or handle it better would really help as I am struggling alot to keep afloat.
I had some more bloods done today and also have been sent to a hearing specialist for tinnitus which I am going to tomorrow morning.
