An American woman, reportedly a Christian missionary, has been killed in an armed conflict between Israeli military and Palestinian militants in the occupied West Bank, while Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip continued to launch rockets into Israel, according to Israeli and Palestinian sources.

The deceased, whose identity has not been disclosed, was found suffering from gunshot wounds and succumbed to her injuries on Friday, according to sources from the Palestinian medical committee.
The incident has fueled tensions in the volatile region, with the Gaza Ministry of Health reporting 34 Palestinians killed and more than 200 injured since Israeli forces launched a barrage of airstrikes on Gaza last Tuesday. The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) confirmed the death toll but disputes the number of fatalities reported by the Gaza health officials.
