Hello, today sets 4 weeks mark since I started sending Maxi cards and Prepaid postage postcards overseas. Most of these had gone to the same location for family and friends – Spain. Others, I posted to random countries.
This morning I received good news from a friend I sent a postcard on 21st August, took only 2.5 weeks to arrive. First one ever since I started this hobby. However, I haven’t heard anything from the individuals I have send before this successful one. Thus, makes me a bit worried and concern about it. I have been posting over the counter as well as dropping them in the red box.
Am I doing something wrong?
Should I be worried or this is normal?

You will find a lot of people don’t bother to tell the sender that they got the postcard……….
It took 3-4 weeks for my postcards to arrive from South America. I posted them myself on a holiday, so I know the timing. I think it can just take time for mail to go overseas.
If you’re asking people and they haven’t got them, give it another week or two. If you’re expecting people to let you know they received it with no prompting, sorry but only one person out of ten let me know mine arrived, and after that I reached out to the rest.
