It’s amazing the impact this event has not just here in America, but around the world. Every country was shook by this in some way
Petr Marchenko, one of the top professionals at Russia’s leading news channel at the time, was visibly shaken — you could truly grasp the level of his excitement when even he, a seasoned anchor, started to stutter and stammer like an intern on their first day. The shock of those scenes remains vivid in my memory, as if it happened just yesterday.
I have never heard a professional news host grasp air so hard.
