SURREY WOMEN SCARRED BY PERSONAL TRAINING PROMISES GONE WRONG
In a shocking turn of events, several women from White Rock and Surrey have come forward claiming they lost thousands of dollars after investing in personalized fitness training programs that never delivered on their promises. The disturbing trend has sparked outrage and calls for reform in the fitness industry.
According to reports, a group of women in their 30s and 40s paid tens of thousands of dollars for personal training sessions, online workout programs, and fitness packages, only to be left with nothing but broken dreams and financial ruin.
"One minute I was told I’d be getting the training of a lifetime, the next I was cut off and left with no assistance," said Sarah Jenkins, a 38-year-old mother of two who was among those affected. "I lost over $20,000 and still I’m trying to recover."
The women claim that their trainers made false promises of rapid weight loss, tone and strength gains, and even guaranteed results, despite having no medical background or certification. Many reported suffering from physical and emotional abuse, with some even ending up in the hospital after being pushed too hard or experiencing injuries.
Peace Arch News has obtained emails, texts, and online testimonials from the affected women, detailing the traumatic experiences and financial losses they suffered at the hands of these fake trainers.
"I felt trapped and manipulated," said Sarah. "I just want to warn others: there are predators out there making false promises and ruining people’s lives."
In a statement, the City of Surrey acknowledged the allegations, saying: "We’re taking these allegations seriously and are working closely with our local authorities to investigate. We urge anyone with concerns to come forward and speak with our authorities."
If you or someone you know has been affected by a similar experience, please report it to the authorities.

They should say who the crooked trainer was so people can be warned and not book with them. Why keep it a secret.
