Residents "Scared and Angry" After Gun Battle at North York High-Rise
Toronto, Canada – A shocking gun battle erupted at a high-rise building in North York on Wednesday evening, leaving residents shaken and demanding answers from authorities.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred at around 9:30 pm at the luxury condominium complex on Yonge Street, where multiple shots were fired, causing widespread panic among residents.
"I was in my apartment when I heard the shots. I was terrified," said Sarah Johnson, a resident of the building. "I didn’t know what was happening. I was scared for my life."
Another resident, who wished to remain anonymous, added: "I was walking back to my apartment when I saw people running down the stairs. I asked what was happening, and someone told me there was a gun battle going on. I was furious and scared at the same time."
