According to the fan, they were thrilled to receive an invitation to a private screening of their favorite film, which was being hosted by the lead actor. However, their excitement was short-lived as the actor’s behavior during the event left them feeling disheartened.

I went to see an anniversary screening of Kes once, with Ken Loach, Barry Hines and Colin Welland in attendance and a Q&A afterwards. No David Bradley (who played Billy Casper) as he was "unavailable."
As the film reached its climax (no spoilers) someone came in at the back and started making loud conversation with the person he was with. He sounded like he'd had a couple of drinks. Cue a lot of tutting and shushing. He quietened down a bit, but still managed to pretty much ruin the end of the film.
As the Q&A started, they announced that there was some great news: David Bradley had, in fact, been able to attend, and here he was! The loud latecomer was Billy Casper, all grown up. He was the only one of the speakers who was a bit "up himself." He had a posh accent, and said how humbled he was to have changed so many lives with his performance, that sort of thing.
My partner summed it up well: "What a twat. I'm glad they killed his stupid bird."
Ken Loach was lovely and chatted with everyone afterwards. He's a bit of a hero of mine, and he was so humble and kind.
Anyone had an interesting time at a special screening? Super amazing, or super disappointing?
